He was at Hogwarts school. You know, the one up in the scottish land, with all the turrets and what not. The fantasy castle that only wizards can see. After 14 years of not going anywhere, except for that time when he got kidnapped, coming here was the best thing that could have happened to him. He was no longer cooped up at the house, he no longer had to listen to his mother go on about how good Hogwarts had been. He was actually here, in the flesh. Mat was happy, excited in a way to be stalking the halls with nothing to do. He had no idea where his friends were, so he'd gone to look for them.
He was bored, just walking with no purpose. Hauling himself up onto a windowsill, Mat tucked his legs underneath him and gazed down at all the little first years that were so nervous. He chuckled gently, taking his wand out and letting a few ghost like shapes float from its tip. The incantation he spoke was barelt audible, but at once, a menagerie or grey, whispy, transparant animals exploded into the hallway. Screams and shouts, curses and cusses. All were thrown around carelessly bounding off the walls and into one another. Mat sat up on his windowsill, snickering to himself.
Ah, the life. A zoo of animals had escaped into the hallways, all with the appearance of being a ghost. It was all his fault, of course, but he wished he hadnt done it alone. There was no Colbalt here to laugh with him, and there was no Chameil to tell him off. Mat certainyl had no idea where Oliver was, but he missed his crew. Where the hell were they anyway?
